This year we’ve got our new Internationalization Plan, the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education 2021-27, and the Erasmus Accreditation in the field of Vocational Education and Training. And in order to celebrate it, we are launching our new International blog as a means to share -in a more dynamic way- all the Erasmus news and experiences with our educational community and beyond.
We already published here our Internationalization Plan, which was drawn up by reviewing and updating our first European Development Plan, the one we made when we started our Erasmus adventure in the academic year 2016-17.
A new Erasmus 2021-27 programme is starting this year, and we have tried to prepare for it as best as we can by renewing our Erasmus Charter for Higher Education, and by applying and achieving the Erasmus Accreditation in the field of Vocational Education and Training. This way, we’ll be able to apply for and manage our major Erasmus projects more easily and more efficiently. These major projects are the ones involving European traineeships for our VET students of all levels -basic, VET and higher VET-.
Moreover in this new stage, we intend to promote other types of mobilities. First, we want to foster teachers’ mobilities to receive training and also to share good practices with European colleagues and institutions. Second, we want to become a hosting institution for both European students and teachers to come complete their training with us.
In conclusion, a new phase begins, and we are facing it most enthusiastically with all the new possibilities offered by the programme.
And this blog is created, as we said above, with the purpose of promoting and sharing our Erasmus experience in a more dynamic way, both within and without our educational community. We will post calls, notices, news… so that everyone interested in the options offered by our institution may be able to access or apply for any information they need.
Welcome 🙂
